Recently, at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, the Long March 3B carrier rocket successfully launched the 01 star of the Tianlian 2, and the satellite has now accurately entered the geosynchronous transfer orbit.

Tianlian 2 is the first satellite of China's second-generation data relay satellite system. It will provide data relay, measurement and control and transmission services for manned spacecraft, satellite, launch vehicle and non-spacecraft users. At the same time, it can provide data measurement and control services for spacecraft, space laboratories and space stations.

On the basis of the first generation of relay satellites, Tianxing No. 2 01 has greatly improved the number of service targets and transmission rate. This will also play an important role in improving the timeliness of information return for low- and low-orbit satellites, manned spacecraft, on-orbit operational safety and mission implementation flexibility.

It is reported that the Tianxing 2nd 01 Star and the Long March 3B carrier rocket were developed by the China Academy of Space Technology and the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. The mission is the 301st flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles. The same day, the No. 2 01 star has the characteristics of more service targets, higher transmission rate, wider coverage and longer design life.
